In 1988 the Pyramid in Tirana was built as a museum to the Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha. Co-designed by his daughter to house her father's writings and depictions of his life. With the war in Kosovo, the Pyramid became a HQ for NATO. Later abandond it stood empty for many years except for the back half of it inhabited by Top TV Channel. It was to be demolished, but due to a public petition in 2017 it was protected and today it has been renovated and cosmetically altered and now used as an IT hub.
